Vs. Japanese sun 2008-08-20
I don't know why, but the sun here in Japan feels just brutal. Maybe it's the combination of elevation and angle and temperature and all of that. Regardless, going to the beach can be positively torture. My wife and I needed something to take the heat off. I owned a tent once built similarly to this one. It was an instant tent and I loved it. This one, built especially for the beach seemed like a good buy. I'm happy with it. Much like my previous tent, this one is pretty forgiving when you want to put it away: Just give the support bars a twist and it pretty much takes care of itself. The extended floor is a nice touch, and I was greteful that the tent included the anchoring pegs. My wife thinks it's odd to have a tent without a tent flap, but the reason this tent misses 5 stars is because I would have liked for it to have a bit more of a bill, or lip extending from the entrance. This isn't such a big deal because if you angle the entrance way from the sun then you should be pretty good, but if it points away from the water then it seems kind of funky. I do appreciate the UV protection though, and the fact that wind passes pretty well through it. I think if the angle is incorrect, then a good breeze would simply flatten it, but we'll see what happens.

これは便利 2007-09-23
郊外芝生の上に使うときの為に買いました。問題はたたみ方ですが、こつを覚えるとものすごく手軽にしまえます。屋根の部分を脚で押さえ、設置面の方を折り畳むようにすればわずか数秒でしまえます。説明書にはそこまで書いていないので判りにくいですが、その方法でたたむのが一番楽です。お勧めします〜。

確かに軽くて設営も収納も簡単なのですが・・・ 2007-08-20
先日、屋外のプールに初めて持参しました。簡単に設営できたものの、たまたまその日は風も強く、テント内で誰かが押さえていないと飛んでいくくらい軽すぎました。重い荷物が沢山あって四隅に置けたならばよかったのでしょうが・・・。少しの荷物じゃ飛んでいきます。そこでは地面がコンクリートだったので、留め金もできず、砂もなかったので両サイドに重りにするものを入れることもできませんでした。テントも軽く簡単だけで選んだらいけない事がよくわかりました。広さも十分あるし、収納も簡単なので、風がない日ならばお勧めですが、風のある日はお勧めできません。
