Vandals唯一のオリジナルメンバー。そしてKung Fu Recordsの社長であるJoe Escalante主演の自主製作映画のThat Darn Punkのサントラです。
Music Supervisorの所もjoeの名前があるので、ほぼまちがいなく彼の趣味爆発の選曲です。メロコア好きなら確実に受け入れられるでしょう。 Kung Fuのレーベルメイトやパンクの大御所も多数参加している豪華な内容になっています。
Nerf Herder、Ataris、RancidそしてVandalsの三曲はここで聞けない曲だと思われます。 Nerf Herderの曲はなかなかいけます。Vandalsのカバー曲も味があり良いです。
私は映画を見ずに聞きましたが、それでも楽しめると思います。見た人も途中にSEも挟まるのでこれもまたサントラ的で悪くないかと。
ちなみに日本版にはボートラが二曲付きます。しかし片方はブート程度Vandalsのライブの曲。もう片方はAudio Karateの既発表曲です。特に付加価値はありません。本来なら輸入版を買えと言うところです。が、この値段。日本版を買うのが賢明ですね。
