ちなみに"I"を買っていいナ、と思った人は絶対に買いです。持ってない人は迷わず"I"も一緒にどうぞ。
さて、今回も、Keys,progで、Rex Rideoutがイ〜〜〜〜仕事してます。前回は、もう、Lutherの歌さえ載ればそのままど〜ゾ〜、という人選から何からN.Y寄りの、やや固いアレンジでしたが、今回は、Smoothなフォーマットかつ、West系のアレンジで全体的に柔らかめ。しかし、Pattiや、Will Downing(ウタ、旨すぎ!)のヴォーカルが載ると、締まるトコロが締まり(イヤン)、N.Yの固めの音になってしまう所は不思議。まぁ、何はともあれ、もっ、すっっっっっごく良く出来てます。Glow Of Loveなんて選曲もいいカンジ。白眉は、Will Downingと、Najeeのssが啼きまくってんのがヨカッタ。あと、グルーヴィで玄人な選曲、"If This World Were Mine"は、シェリル・リンの"Instant Love"を、実家のレコ棚から引っ張り出して併せて聴くのが良いです。
でも諸兄姉、Rexさんの音作りって、Jeff Lorberそっくりな気がしませんか?
